Confined Space Competent Person

February 5 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

RMS has developed a “Confined Space Competent Person” training program that will provide students with a broad understanding of the 1910 and 1926 standards relative to Confined Space Entry.  This review will not only cover the elements of each standard, it will also incorporate applicable Letters of Interpretation and Frequently Asked Questions published by OSHA.

In addition to detailed knowledge of OSHA’s Confined Space requirements, students will also gain practical guidance for the use of confined space equipment, lessons learned from past incidents and experiences, and tips for planning a successful rescue.  At the conclusion of our classroom instruction, all students will participate in a mock entry drill that will be facilitated using our “Confined Space Simulator”.  They will also complete a written test to help employers gauge the knowledge & retention of their employees.

Upon completion of the class each student will be given a certificate of completion and a form that their employer can complete in order to identify them as a “Competent Person”.
