OSHA 10 Hour Day 1

February 19 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Overview:

This program is designed to take students through some of OSHA’s more dominant construction standards.  Upon completing this program students will have a basic understanding of who OSHA is, how they function, and what they require.   Some of the topics that are likely to be covered include:

  • Introduction to OSHA
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Health Hazards in Construction
  • Electrical Safety
  • Fall Protection
  • Stairways & Ladders
  • Trenching & Excavations
  • Scaffolding
  • Hand & Power Tools
  • Materials Handling

Highlights:

  • LIVE FORMAT: Unlike online training programs, this course will be conducted with live instructors in a group setting.  This allows for interaction, sharing, & immediate answers to questions.
  • SKILLED INSTRUCTORS: We use multiple instructors & guest speakers for this training program in order to keep it fresh.  Our instructors are accomplished speakers that have anywhere from 15-35 years of experience in the safety field.
  • STUDENT INTERACTION: We use pictures, video clips, group exercises, & Hands On Practical Exercises (HOPE) in order to enhance learning.  One of the ways we do this is by taking our students to “H.O.P.E. Arena” (i.e. our warehouse that is kind of like our safety playground)!
