CCS (formerly MICCS) has decided to place QR codes on the newly issued CCS certified drug cards. A QR code is a scannable, two-dimensional bar code.  In this case, it will have the most recent drug testing information regarding the person assigned to the card. This added benefit will save you time when reviewing employee’s drug cards. To be able to utilize this new feature, you still need to log in to Safetsite, and a QR code scanner will need to be downloaded on a mobile device. If you don’t want to download the scanner application to use this new feature, you can still use Safesite. Check your mobile app store for the highest-rated QR scanner options.
