OSHA Announces Top 10 Violations for 2017

At the NSC Congress and Expo last week, OSHA’s Deputy Director of Enforcement Programs Patrick Kapust, announced the preliminary list of 10 standards most frequently cited by the agency’s inspectors during Fiscal Year 2017. For the seventh year in a row, Fall Protection took the number one spot. Click here for more details and the number of violations per category.

3. Scaffolding (1926.451)
4. Respiratory Protection (1910.134)
5. Lockout/Tagout (1910.147)
6. Ladders (1926.1053)
7. Powered Industrial Trucks (1910.178)
8. Machine Guarding (1910.212)
9. Fall Protection – Training Requirements (1926.503)
10. Electrical – Wiring Methods (1910.305)
