On March 28, OSHA announced a proposed modification to their recordkeeping requirements. This change would update their list of “high hazard industries” and then require all employers within those industries who have more than 100 employees to submit information from their 300, 301 and 300A forms annually. This information would need to be submitted by entering it into OSHA’s “Injury Tracking Application” (i.e. a web portal). Employers with more than 20 employees in those “high hazard industries” would still be required to submit information from their 300A form (only) annually. For more information about this proposed change, please click here.
